Profile

Ian is a Partner at Bridge McFarland LLP and works in the Medical Negligence department. He is internationally recognised for his expertise in this area of law.

Ian has over 20 years of experience in dealing with a multitude of very high-value claims, including multi million pound Cerebral Palsy claims, birth injury, Cauda Equina Syndrome, breast cancer misdiagnosis and hip replacement surgery.

Ian acts as Assistant Coroner for Hull and the East Riding. He was appointed in February 2018.

Ian qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and is an APIL accredited senior litigator and a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel.

Ian is based in our Hull office, with frequent visits to our Lincoln and Grimsby offices.
