Rob is Head of the Costs team and has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of civil costs.
Rob specialises in complex and high value personal injury, clinical negligence and commercial litigation. He has a particular interest in advocacy and the funding of civil litigation, offering an in-depth understanding of these areas of law to offer in-house solutions and support across a wide range of cost issues.
Rob works closely with a number of our Partners and Heads of Department to enhance cost recovery and to provide tailored training to entire departments ensuring consistent and high quality processes throughout the business.
Rob’s knowledge and experience of dealing with legal costs is invaluable when training and supervising the Costs team.
In his spare time Rob enjoys walking the Peak District and other National Parks and attending Doncaster Rovers games with his 3 boys and wife. He is also a qualified football referee and enjoys officiating most weekends. His most favoured achievement is refereeing the Doncaster Sunday League Cup Final on two occasions at the Eco Power Stadium the home of his beloved Doncaster Rovers.
