Solicitor Apprenticeships at Bridge McFarland
Following the introduction of the SQE, we are very supportive of the new Solicitor Apprenticeship route to qualification.
There are two programmes we currently support.
The first is the Graduate Entry Solicitor Apprenticeship. This is a 30-month programme at successful completion of which the applicant will have completed the SQE and achieve a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
This programme is for those with either a 2:1 honours degree in law or a 2:1 honours degree in a non-law subject and a minimum pass in a PGDL/GDL.
We also support the Solicitor Apprenticeship. This is a six-year programme aimed at students with good A Level results who do not wish to go to university. This route enables applicants to achieve a degree in law and qualify as a solicitor while earning a competitive salary.
Government funding is currently available for both types of apprenticeship, and time off each week is allowed for studying.
