We are delighted to announce the promotion of Claire Hill to a Partner within the firm’s Risk and Compliance Department.
Claire joined the firm in March 2006 after obtaining a law degree from the University of Lincoln and completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York. Claire previously represented clients in a broad range of both commercial and residential property transactions including sale and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, landlord and tenant matters, property development, property security and financing before joining Bridge McFarland’s Risk and Compliance Department in 2023.
The Risk and Compliance Department is responsible for ensuring that the firm complies with our regulatory responsibilities and continues to provide high standards of service to all our clients. The vast knowledge and experience held by Claire as a property lawyer is already proving invaluable in this new role. Managing Partner Stephen is thrilled with the promotion:
“I have worked with Claire for many years and she embodies so many of the values that are important to us as a firm. She has a faultless work ethic, she is seriously reliable and she is always on hand if anyone needs help. She has always been someone who puts the needs of others ahead of herself. It is very well deserved promotion.”
When asked about her promotion Claire said: “Anyone who knows me will know that I have always been a huge advocate of Bridge McFarland. I am so proud to have joined the partnership and very grateful for the opportunity to be able to be more involved in the growth and progression of the firm I believe in so much. Exciting times ahead!”
