Lauren is an Associate Solicitor in the Medical Negligence department at the firm’s Grimsby office. She deals with a broad range of cases against hospital trusts, GPs, dentists, and clinicians practicing in the private sector. Her cases vary in complexity and value.

She has a particular interest in fatal cases and understands the need to deal empathetically with the families of those who have lost someone due to negligence. These cases require an understanding of a wide range of medical issues such as oncology (cancer) and general surgery.

Lauren understands the importance of listening to what her client’s objectives are and whilst the only legal remedy is financial compensation, she will help her clients to find answers as to why something has happened to them or a loved one.

Lauren joined the firm as a work experience placement in June 2015 and then became a Legal Assistant in the firm’s Private Client department in Louth in September 2015. She began her training contract in September 2016 and qualified as a solicitor in March 2018.

Lauren graduated from the University of Hull in June 2015 with a First Class honours degree in Law. She then continued her training at the BPP University Law School, Leeds and obtained a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course.
