Kathryn specialises in personal injury law and has developed a significant claimant personal injury practice with a particular expertise in acting for injured seafarers. As a consequence of that work and also acting for claimants who have been injured abroad, she has been involved in many cases where jurisdiction and applicable law are in issue.
Kathryn deals with the most catastrophic cases including fatal accidents, accidents resulting in amputation injuries, spinal injuries and also serious burns and claims for injured children.
Kathryn has a wealth of experience in acting for brain injury survivors. She has been Treasurer to Headway Grimsby (a charity supporting survivors of brain injuries and their families) since she helped to set that group up in 2008.
She has vast experience of the complex needs and issues arising out of brain injuries, and also specialises in cases involving spinal injury. As well as these types of work, she handles high value road traffic accident cases including those with injuries sustained in motorcycle accidents.
