Staci’s experience includes dealing with complex clinical negligence cases, including injuries sustained during or around birth such as cerebral palsy cases, brain injuries, severe orthopaedic injuries and surgical errors. She also has vast experience in neonatal death and stillborn cases. She has over 15 years’ experience working in the field.
Staci enjoys helping clients who have sustained life changing and serious injuries as she likes to help improve their quality of life as part of the litigation process, for example putting into place specialist rehabilitation, helping arrange appropriate accommodation and putting in place future care provisions.
Staci has a specialist interest and is passionate about helping families with disabled children, such as children with cerebral palsy.
Staci has a little girl herself and feels that this has added to her empathy for families with disabled children and her passion to try and help them in whatever way she can. Staci offers a personal and friendly yet professional approach and builds up close relationships with the families she works with.
Staci has been involved volunteering with local disabled children’s charities and she is a committee member of a local charity, Hull and District Cerebral Palsy Society. Staci is heavily involved in the day to day running of this charity and her work with them includes helping them organise and plan events and offering advice for their members. She feels that her involvement with the charity helps her offer a full package of support for the families that she works with and understand their needs.
In addition to helping support individuals and families affected by medical negligence, Staci is also able to offer help and support with inquests. She can provide the reassurance, guidance and advocacy that families need to go through the inquest process.
