We are delighted to share that Bridge McFarland partner Rachel Miskin has been appointed as the new Chair of Women in Business Hull for 2026.
Rachel is a partner in our Family Services team based in Hull, where she supports clients through divorce, separation, and all aspects of child and family arrangements. Alongside her legal work, Rachel has been an active and passionate member of Women in Business, a not-for-profit organisation that supports professional women across Hull, East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.
Rachel takes over the role from Tracey Dennison, Consultant Nurse Practitioner at East Riding Aesthetics & Wellness, and will lead the organisation through an exciting programme of events and initiatives throughout 2026.
“I am genuinely honoured and excited to be taking over as Chair of Women in Business Hull for 2026. My hope is to bring even more local women together to have fun, network, build confidence and form genuine connections and lasting friendships. I am committed to doing all I can to support local women in their careers and personal development.”
Women in Business supports and encourages women in senior and decision-making roles by providing opportunities for networking, professional development, confidence-building and meaningful connections. The organisation currently has almost 100 members and hosts regular events throughout the year, alongside the bi-annual Women of Achievement Awards, which celebrate the inspiring contributions of women across the region.
Speaking about her experience with the group, Rachel said:
“Since joining Women In Business, I have met so many supportive and inspiring women. It has been so much more than a networking group for me, the events and members have inspired me, helped me grow in confidence and brought me a lot of joy when I’ve needed it.
I know that with the incredible committee alongside our members and guests, the year ahead will be filled with collaboration, shared learning, laughter, and success. We have some fantastic events already lined up and our year will end with the incredible Women of Achievement Awards to celebrate the inspiring achievements, and contributions of women within our community. It’s going to be a great year!”
Rachel’s appointment comes as Women in Business continues to grow its membership and expand its events calendar for 2026, with a strong focus on collaboration, learning and community support.
We are incredibly proud to see Rachel recognised in this leadership role and look forward to supporting her as she helps champion and empower women across our local business community.
